The COALA Movement is facilitated by a servant leadership teamrepresenting key regions of the Majority World. The facilitation team exists to connect, convene, and serve, not to govern or control. The facilitation team works collaboratively, ensuring that no single region or institution dominates the movement.

Chair of COALA : Jonas Kang (Dae Heung Kang)is the General Secretary of the Korean World Missions Association (KWMA)and a veteran missionary who has served in Thailand for 38 years. His ministry is widely recognized for its exemplary model of partnership-based missionwith the Church of Christ in Thailand (CCT), emphasizing mutual trust, leadership sharing, and long-term collaboration. Jonas is married and has faithfully integrated family life with decades of cross-cultural mission service. In his current role, he provides strategic leadership for Korean missions globally and serves as the Chair of the COALA Movement, helping to foster collaboration among Majority World mission leaders.

A native of Costa Rica, Allan Matamoros gave his life to follow and serve Jesus in missions as a youth. He was the executive director of FEDEMEC (the first sending agency in Costa Rica). He served with COMIBAM, working with a multinational latino team to transform Latin America from a mission field to a mission force. In 2004, Allan became the international director of PM-International, a Latin American church planting and holistic mission focused on the Muslim world for 12 years. More recently, he has been the chairman of Vision 5:9, a global network of 180 mission agencies working together to share the love of Jesus with Muslims. At the same time, he continues to serve with Comibam in its executive team and directed initiatives with missionary agencies in the Muslim world, helping to deploy global South church planting teams and working alongside the indigenous or MBB church, especially in the MENA and West Africa areas. Allan had the joy to be one of the Speakers at URBANA-2015, Lausanne Congress in Korea in 2024, 50th Anniversary Congress of Perspectives of the World Christian Movement and the COMIBAM congress in 2025.

Barnabas Moon (Chang-Sun Moon) is a missionary leader and founding Director of WiThee International, providing strategic leadership for global mission initiatives. He also serves as the Executive Director of the AEA Mission Commission and has played a key role in shaping mission collaboration across Asia. As the Executives of the Lausanne Diaspora and WEA MC, he is widely recognized as a global leader in diaspora and migrant ministry. Through decades of service, he has made significant contributions to advancing global missions by equipping churches to engage effectively with displaced and migrant communities worldwide.

Cristian Castrois the General Secretary of COMIBAM (Ibero-American Mission Cooperation)and a leading voice in the Latin American mission movement. He has served for many years in cross-cultural mission and mission mobilization, equipping churches across Latin America for global engagement. Cristian is married and values family life as an integral part of his calling and leadership. In his current role, he provides strategic direction for COMIBAM’s continental mission initiatives, including the preparation and hosting of the COMIBAM Panama Congress, which will gather mission leaders from across the Ibero-American world.

Isac Raja is the General Secretary of the India Missions Association (IMA), the national umbrella body representing more than 350 mission organizations across India. He is a seasoned mission leader with decades of experience serving the Indian church and advancing cross-cultural missions from India to the nations. Isac is married and is deeply committed to family life alongside his calling to mission leadership. In his current role, he provides strategic vision, advocacy, and coordination for the Indian mission movement at both national and global levels. He is widely recognized as a key leader shaping the future of India’s growing contribution to world missions.

John Lee (Juan Lee)is a missionary leader and the General Secretary of Vision 800. Having spent his formative teenage years in Latin Americaand currently residing in North America, he brings a cross-cultural identity that bridges Asia and Latin America. He is actively engaged in connecting churches and mission leaders across these regions through Vision 800, fostering collaborative and forward-looking mission initiatives. His ministry reflects a deep commitment to global partnership and the mobilization of emerging mission movements.

Manik Corea is the National Director of the Singapore Centre for Global Missions (SCGM), a centre which serves Singapore churches in their engagement in global missions by coordinating, catalysing and calibrating the health and scope of our participation in God’s global missions. Additionally, SCGM also serves as a connector with global and regional networks. Manik is ordained in the Anglican Church of North America and has served as missionary church-planters in both the UK and Thailand with NAMS, an Anglican church-planting order. He is married to Maple from Taiwan and they have an 18-year old son Josiah. Manik is passionate about helping Majority World missions be faithful and fruitful to God’s mission in this new era of World Christianity.

Peter Oyugi serves as the MANI(Movement for African National Initiatives) Continental Coordinator and is a respected leader in the African mission movement. He also serves on the Facilitation Team of the Majority World Christian Leaders’ Conversation (MWCLC), facilitating dialogue and collaboration among Majority World Christian leaders worldwide. Peter brings a global perspective shaped by deep engagement with African churches and mission networks. His ministry focuses on strengthening indigenous leadership, fostering partnership-based missions, and amplifying the voice of the Majority World in global Christian discourse.

International Secretary of COALA : Paul Noh (Sung Chun Noh)is a missionary leader with long-standing involvement in Chinese and Greater China missions, including the training of Chinese-speaking missionaries and service as a former professor at China Evangelical Seminary. Building on this experience, he is now deeply engaged in the transformation of Korean missions and global missions through the COALA Movement. His ministry focuses on promoting partnership-based, polycentric mission approachesin response to the realities of World Christianity.
